Claire Simmons is a certified holistic nutritionist, health coach, and wellness educator dedicated to helping individuals and families build sustainable, healthy lifestyles through nutrition, movement, and mindset. She is certified through the American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA) as a Holistic Health Coach, with advanced training in holistic nutrition, behavior change, and evidence-based wellness coaching. She is also a certified Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), specializing in safe, effective movement and functional fitness for long-term health and energy.
Claire further expanded her expertise through Stanford University School of Medicine’s online program, where she studied childhood nutrition, healthy cooking practices, and the long-term impact of nutrition on learning, development, and overall wellness.
Throughout her career, Claire has designed and led impactful wellness initiatives across corporate, healthcare, and educational settings. She developed and implemented a corporate wellness program for Atrium Health’s communication department, where she coached employees on healthy eating, mindset, productivity, lifestyle habits, and personal growth. Her work focused on helping professionals create sustainable routines that improved both workplace performance and overall well-being.
Claire has also worked with physicians, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to help prevent burnout and improve long-term health outcomes. Through wellness workshops and coaching sessions, she taught hundreds of healthcare workers practical strategies for maintaining energy, focus, movement, and healthy habits both on and off the job.
Passionate about childhood wellness and family health education, Claire founded and led the Nutritious Kids Club, the first parent-led wellness club at Davidson Day School for students in grades K–2. The program introduced children to foundational nutrition concepts through hands-on cooking experiences, interactive lessons, and engaging activities designed to make healthy eating approachable, enjoyable, and empowering. She has also led Nutrition Month educational initiatives for early childhood and lower school students, teaching the importance of whole foods, balanced nutrition, fruits and vegetables, and healthy habits that support learning, growth, and lifelong wellness.
Claire is the founder and owner of Claire Simmons Wellness, where she provides holistic health coaching, wellness education, and family-focused nutrition guidance. Her approach combines practical nutrition strategies, movement, mindset, and sustainable lifestyle habits to help clients create healthier, more energized lives for themselves and their families.
